You are eligible for LASIK if you:
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Have had a stable vision prescription for at least 1 year with a refractive condition that is within the treatment limits of LASIK.
- Are in good general health.
- Have no existing eye diseases (eg. cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, retina problems).
- Have sufficient corneal thickness.
- Are not pregnant. However, you can proceed with LASIK 2 months after delivery.
Eligibility is best determined through a pre-LASIK assessment at our clinic.
The LASIK Suitability Test includes a general eye exam by our Senior Optometrist to determine your eligibility for the procedure, with a fee of $54.50 nett. You will receive results on your suitability after the screening.

Yes, the surgery will be performed at LSC Eye Clinic that is located at Paragon Medical.
Before your pre-LASIK assessment, please refrain from wearing soft contact lenses for 3 days and hard contact lenses for 14 days. We recommend using your glasses until the assessment, after which you may resume wearing your contact lenses.
It is not uncommon to experience tearing and mild discomfort during the first 6 hours post-surgery. To assist with any discomfort, sleeping pills will be prescribed. Additionally, some irritation may be felt for a day or two after surgery. You are required to wear a protective eye shield while sleeping for at least 3 days following the procedure to safeguard your eye.
Medicated eye drops will be prescribed for one week post-operation.

- Installment Plans (Interest-Free) are available using UOB, OCBC, DBS/POSB credit cards. You can choose either 6 or 12 months of payment plans.
- Medisave is not applicable for LASIK surgeries.
