LASIK BASIC TEST
The basic test will take around 1 - 2 hours.
REGISTRATION
Upon arriving at LSC Eye Clinic, complete the patient registration form with your particulars, medical history, and drug allergies (if any).
EYE TESTS
- Auto-refraction
- Tonometry
- Anterior imaging (Corneal pachymetry and topography, epithelial mapping)
- Visual acuity
- Manifest refraction
PRE-LASIK COUNSELLING
You will have a personalized 1-on-1 counselling session with our Senior Optometrist to explore the procedures available to you and discuss post-surgery expectations.
PAYMENT
Make a payment of S$54.50 (inclusive of 9% GST) for the LASIK Basic Test.
If you’re interested in moving forward with surgery, our optometrist will schedule you for a comprehensive eye assessment. This assessment includes pupil dilation and a detailed consultation with our Senior Eye Surgeon.
The doctor’s consultation is $163.50.
DILATION
Dilating eye drops are then applied to dilate the pupils, enabling the eye doctor to examine the back of your eyes and rule out any existing eye conditions, such as glaucoma or retinal detachment.
Your near vision will be blurry, and your eyes will be sensitive to sunlight for 6 – 8 hours (some patients experience the blur for longer). We strongly advise you to bring along a pair of sunglasses and avoid driving yourself to the appointment!
FINAL EYE TEST
Once your pupils are dilated, you will undergo an auto-refraction test and subjective refraction once more.
DOCTOR CONSULTATION
The doctor will review your test results, check on your eye health, and discuss various LASIK options, customising to your eye condition and lifestyles.
*The complete eye assessment fee of $218 will be absorbed if surgery is booked.
SURGERY APPOINTMENT
Book your surgery to secure a slot. The nurse will also share with you the DOs and DONTs of pre-surgery.
