What is MEL 90^®?

MEL 90 is an advanced laser system used during LASIK or PRK to reshape your cornea safely and precisely so you can see clearly without glasses or contact lenses.

• Adults aged 18 or older
• Prescription must be stable for at least 1 year (no change greater than ±0.50)
• Nearsightedness (myopia): up to –10.00 diopters
• Farsightedness (hyperopia): up to +4.00 diopters
• Astigmatism: up to –4.00 diopters (if combined with myopia) or up to +3.00 diopters (if combined with hyperopia)
• Mixed astigmatism: between 1.00 and 4.00 diopters
