- In less than 10 seconds for each eye, a low-energy laser creates a tiny refractive lenticule and an opening as small as 2mm on the cornea surface.

Your eye is numbed using anaesthetic drops so you remain comfortable throughout. An eyelid holder is fitted to keep your eye open, and a contact glass is placed on your eye to keep it still. You may feel slight pressure during this step, which is normal. -
Step 2
Lenticule creation
Using the ZEISS VISUMAX 800, a femtosecond laser creates a small disc of corneal tissue called a lenticule, along with a tiny opening of approximately 4 mm. This takes under 10 seconds per eye. The size and shape of the lenticule is tailored precisely to your refractive error. -
Step 3
Lenticule removal
